Who is the data controller?

Piggo is operated by Mark Rye, Denmark. Questions about personal data can be sent to info@piggo.money.

What information do we store?

We do not collect national ID numbers, payment details or bank data. There is no real money in Piggo.

Children's data

Piggo is used by children – so the principle is simple: parents own and control the family's data. It is parents who create the children's profiles, and parents can view, correct and delete everything in the family at any time. By creating a child in Piggo, you as a parent confirm that you consent on the child's behalf. Children's data is used solely to display the family's own content and is handled like everything else in the family.

What do we use the information for?

Solely to provide Piggo to your family: showing you your numbers, sending the notifications you have asked for, and keeping families separated from one another. We show no ads, we sell no data, and we use no tracking or analytics cookies.

Cookies

Piggo uses only essential cookies: one that keeps you logged in and one that remembers your theme choice. No third-party or marketing cookies – which is also why there is no cookie banner.

Who has access, and where is the data kept?

Your family's data is kept in our own database in Denmark. Each family is technically separated from all other families, and only the family's own members can see the family's content – children only see their own. Traffic is protected by Cloudflare (our network provider and data processor), which provides encryption and protection against attacks. Stock prices are fetched from an external price service – only stock symbols (for example "AAPL") are sent, never personal data.

How long do we keep the information?

For as long as your family has an account. If you delete the family – or ask us to via info@piggo.money – the family's data is deleted entirely. Backups are rotated and outdated copies are overwritten on an ongoing basis.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify and erase your information, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). Most of it you can do yourselves directly in the app – and the rest we'll sort out with an email to info@piggo.money.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, you will be notified in the app before the change takes effect.
